Having read American Studies at Leicester University, Louise went on to study her PGCE at the Institute of Education. She has an MA in Education and is currently studying for an MBA.  At the start of her teaching career, Louise taught in both state and independent schools in Kent before moving to a large British International school in Abu Dhabi as Head of Maths. After six years in the Middle East, Louise returned to the UK as Deputy Head of a girls’ prep school in London, followed by her most recent role as Deputy Head at a girls’ prep in Kent. She is thrilled to have begun her new role as Head of the Girls’ Prep and much to the girls’ delight is the owner of Surbiton’s newest addition, Kona the School Dog!

Louise enjoys undertaking charitable endeavours, having climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and twice running the London Marathon. A passion for sport and the outdoors has seen Louise teach sailing and windsurfing in the Caribbean as well as coaching football in the USA. Constantly on the go, she enjoys playing competitive hockey and football but her main passion is surfing and paddleboarding in the warm waters of Hawaii.
