Congratulations to the Year 12 team of 5 girls who scored an unbelievable 119/120 in the Physics in Advent competition, run by a university in Germany and attempted by many schools globally. They had to do a different practical task every day from the 1st to 24th Dec and use their results to answer the daily question. During term time, they came in early to do it before school, enthusiastically led and assisted by Mrs Pudney, and they managed to keep it going outside of term time by sourcing the materials needed from what they could find at home. The long-term commitment to seeing it through is outstanding, and we are so proud of the team’s exceptional final score.
