On Saturday, 11 May 2024, members of the Green & Silver Community including parents, staff, and alumnae came together to celebrate at our 140th Anniversary Ball in the Gold Cup Suite at Sandown Race Course. The Ball raised over £20,000 in support of the Green & Silver Bursary Programme which provides support to those pupils who would not be able to remain at the Sixth Form and to other pupils across the Schools whose parents are experiencing temporary financial difficulties.
We welcomed Sarah (2018) and Amber (2017), former recipients of the Green & Silver Bursary Fund, to share their stories of what the Bursary had meant to them and how, by enabling them to remain at School in the Sixth Form, it had helped them pursue their dreams.
Guests enjoyed a casino, raffle, and silent auction, before dancing the night away. The Green & Silver Club is grateful to all members of the community who donated raffle prizes, and auction items, and provided sponsorship.
