The Year 11 Geographers went to Juniper Hall FSC to complete some river fieldwork.
They measured key river characteristics such as width, depth and velocity at different sites along the River Tillingbourne. Students were also able to understand the different stages of a geographical enquiry and will follow up this trip with data analysis and an evaluation. This knowledge and skills will form part of a GCSE geography exam paper and will help any students who continue the subject to A level.
