World Book Day provided us with the perfect opportunity to celebrate books and our love of reading!
There were many highlights from the week: our live storytelling sessions were a chance for teachers to share their favourite childhood books, pupils were challenged to guess which teacher was reading in the Masked Reader, and our ‘Awesome Books’ competition saw a plethora of creative responses to a variety of books – it was a joy to watch and read so many wonderful entries!
Our virtual book character day saw an abundance of superb costume and creations on show. These ranged from Where’s Wally to Harry Potter to Pippi Longstocking – a brilliant effort from all involved!
