At the end of term, we said a very fond farewell to Mrs Sally Ralph, Head of the Boys’ Preparatory School. Mrs Ralph has been an integral part of our community for the last ten years and now leaves us to begin what we hope will be a very happy retirement.
Pupils, both past and present, parents and staff worked tirelessly to ensure that Mrs Ralph’s departure was marked in true style and with the warmth for which she has been so well known. Members of our Local Governing Body were delighted to have the opportunity to raise a glass with Mrs Ralph at their meeting earlier this month. More recently a series of wonderful, touching occasions highlighted the impact she has had both within the Boys’ Preparatory School and also upon the parents and staff across the Senior School. A moving assembly was dedicated to celebrating Mrs Ralph’s work and commitment and she was presented with personal and lovingly crafted gifts from her pupils. Everyone had worked hard in top secret to be able to surprise her.
We wish Mrs Ralph every happiness and extend our sincere gratitude for all that she has done for Surbiton High School.
