Surbiton High School’s Year 12 student Tess F has had an extraordinary few months, showcasing her talent both on and off the pitch. Representing Ireland in the prestigious WU17 Female Football Tournament in Gradisca D’Isonzo, Italy, Tess played a key role in the team’s success. She was named Player of the Match on her international debut against Slovenia (4–0), scored her first international goal in a dominant win over North Macedonia (6–0), and helped secure a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Italy to win the tournament.
Tess’s achievements don’t stop there. Over the summer, she celebrated an outstanding set of GCSE results, was retained by Chelsea FC for their U19 Academy team, and was a vital part of Surbiton High School’s U16 and U18 English Schools National winning teams last season.
Her journey is a testament to dedication, talent, and balance between academics and elite sport!
Well done, Tess!
