Congratulations to our Class of 2026 as they receive their results and embark on the exciting next steps of their educational journey.
96% of students were awarded A* – B grade and 29% awarded A*(compared to the national average of 10%), with 29 students achieving two or more A* grades. Over 94% of students are heading to Russell Group and The Times Top 10 universities, including Durham, Warwick, UCL, Edinburgh and Exeter alongside a wide range of other destinations, including American universities, drama schools and art colleges.
Six students will go on to study at University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford; congratulations to Rawan A, Eloise C heading to Cambridge, and to Edith O, Holly S, and Sophie O (Head Girl) and Verity W heading to Oxford. This is a part of a combined total of 28 successful applications over the last three years.
Alongside more familiar courses, our students are pursuing a wide array of 54 different degrees, including Agricultural Studies and Farm Business Management, Spacecraft Engineering, Applied Anatomy, Fashion Marketing, Landscape Architecture, Social Anthropology and Politics, Visual Arts and Film, and War Studies.
40% of students are going on to study STEM subjects, with eight students studying engineering-related courses including spacecraft, mechanical and aeronautics. Languages are thriving with eight students going to study language-related degrees.
Our students regularly balance demanding academic studies with a wide range of co-curricular pursuits, and it is always a pleasure to see them continue to develop their passions and further studies. England Hockey players, Phoebe B and Isabel Y, are both bound for Loughborough University, Sophie O will head to the University of Oxford, while Ireland rower Gracie B is set to join Queen’s University Belfast. Frankie T will pursue her studies overseas in the US on a Tennis Scholarship, and closer to home, Eden O’M will continue to play netball for Ireland while studying at the University of Birmingham.
