Eight girls from Year 2 took part in the Kingston Borough Football Festival. The team worked hard together to improve their skills throughout their three matches, especially when using space on the pitch. It was great to see the determination and “getting stuck in” attitude. The girls successfully won all three matches, scoring a number of goals with most of the team contributing. Additionally, they participated in a skills-based session, where two of our pupils won a trophy for completing the most passes in 60 seconds. The team had a great time and it has inspired them to join a football club outside of School.
