Another successful day for Surbiton High School at the London Schools Ski Race at Welwyn on Saturday!  The Prep squad had an exciting morning with the A team winning Silver in the Cat 1 Girls.  The B team, including two new racers and two Year 3 skiers, did an excellent job racing up in Cat 1 Mixed and finished 4th!  Both teams made it through several thrilling rounds of the overall Dual Slalom, where again the A team finished 2nd, and the B team came 4th.

The Senior squad performed exceptionally well, with the Cat 2 Girls coming 2nd by under a second and the Cat 4 girls A team winning and the B team coming 2nd. Individually, within the Cat 3 girls, Talula E came 3rd, and in Cat 4, Freya T won, and Saskia S came 2nd. Both teams made it through to the last round of the duals, with the A team coming 2nd and the B team coming 4th.

The team performed incredibly well on Saturday, winning Best Girls School and Best Girls School in London. The team showed incredible teamwork and resilience, especially on a hot day like Saturday. Thank you to all the Surbiton coaches for their hard work in the lead-up to the race and on Saturday.
