We are delighted to celebrate the refurbishment of our Design & Technology Department, a vibrant new space that reflects the creativity, innovation and ambition of our students. At the same time, we are proud that 11 students have secured offers to study Engineering at university, demonstrating the strength of our STEM provision and the continuing enthusiasm for engineering and design among our students.

The newly refurbished department provides an inspiring environment where students can develop practical skills, creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. From product design and engineering concepts to digital design and prototyping, the facilities allow students to turn ideas into reality and prepare for an increasingly technological world.
This success builds on our long-standing tradition of students progressing to some of the UK’s leading universities to study a wide range of creative and technical disciplines. Each year, our students secure places on highly competitive courses in Art, Design, Architecture, Engineering and related fields, combining creativity with analytical thinking to shape successful futures and thrive in a world where AI will become an increasing part of all working environments.

The achievement of 11 future engineers highlights the breadth of opportunities available to students and reflects the dedication of our staff in fostering both academic excellence and real-world skills. Whether pursuing architecture, product design, engineering, fine art or other creative disciplines, our students continue to demonstrate that innovation and imagination go hand in hand.
As we look ahead, our refurbished Design & Technology Department will play an even greater role in nurturing the next generation of designers, architects, engineers and creative thinkers. We look forward to seeing what they create next.
