The Senior School’s Lower School musical, Newsies Jr., was a huge success, bursting with energy and emotion throughout. The lively and inspiring production told a powerful story, following a group of young newspaper sellers who come together to stand up for fairness, teamwork and having their voices heard. Musical numbers were brought to life through strong characterisation, complex choreography, amazing harmonies and dynamic staging.
Pupils began rehearsals in January and worked tirelessly and professionally at every stage of the process. Along the way, they developed strong ensemble skills, teamwork and confidence, supporting one another as they mastered ambitious lifts that wowed the audience. The production was a fantastic celebration of their dedication and passion for the Performing Arts.
