Surbiton High School is delighted that one of our Year 13 Drama and Theatre A-level students has successfully auditioned for the bespoke 3-year Acting Course at the prestigious Italia Conti Conservatoire. Nancy W is an exceptionally talented, versatile actor and has worked hard throughout her time at Surbiton High School to add a variety of styles to her repertoire.
Nancy has always been passionate about Theatre from a young age and has an excellent experience performing in a range of styles and genres. She is a credit to our A-level Drama programme and has made valuable contributions to the Department throughout her time at Surbiton High School.
Some of Nancy’s most distinctive performances include a stunning, raw and emotive performance as one of the lead roles in our ‘Senior Drama Company’, Nigel Williams’ adaptation of ‘Lord of the Flies’, and performing the role of ‘Mr Brownlow’ in our production of ‘Oliver!’ in November 2023, which was performed at New Wimbledon Theatre. Italia Conti is very lucky to have a student like Nancy!
