Founders’ Day 2024

Posted: 26th February 2024

Church hall with the back of pupils

The Senior School held the traditional Church Services to mark our 140th Founders’ Day at St Mark’s Church in Surbiton on the Friday before half term. The event was a celebration of tradition, gratitude and pride as the School reflected on the vision of the School’s Founders, the dedication of its Heads and staff, past and present and the impact on the development of an education that has shaped generations of pupils.

During the services, we were delighted to listen to the premiere of “One Four Zero”, a composition by Dave Webb, the School’s Composer in Residence. The musical piece paid homage to the School’s 140-year journey, encapsulating the essence of growth, resilience, and community spirit.
