The Picture Book Club has raised £355.28 for BBC Children in Need with its publication of ‘SORROW FINDS JOY!’. A children’s picture book illustrated by 25 Surbiton High Senior School pupils from Years 7,8,9,10 and 12.
Meeting every Friday lunchtime during the summer term, as part of the Picture Book Club, pupils worked hard to produce original pictures to accompany the story of a magpie named Sorrow who eventually finds Joy after encountering various birds and bees at Apple Trees School.
The Picture Book Club is hoping to resume this Summer term. If you are interested in a copy, they are available to purchase at the Senior School reception.
