Senior School Open Events at Surbiton High School provide an excellent opportunity to explore our ethos, values and educational approach. These events allow families to experience the School in action and gain a genuine sense of our vibrant learning environment. Since places fill quickly, we encourage early booking.
Upcoming Open Event Dates
- Friday 6 November 2026 – This Tour and Chat is exclusively for families considering Year 7 or Year 9 entry for September 2027. It is the final opportunity to visit Surbiton High School before the application cycle begins.
- Begins at 9.15am
- Tuesday 23 March 2027. The week-day event provides an opportunity to experience the School on an normal school day.
- Begins at 9.15am
During the event, you will hear directly from Mr Shoults, Principal, as well as members of the Senior Leadership Team. You will also take part in a guided tour of the School, led by our current pupils. Along the way, they will be happy to answer any questions about academic life, co-curricular opportunities, and the overall pupil experience at Surbiton High School.
Demystifying the 11+ Process
This informative session will provide an overview of the 11+ process at Surbiton High School. During the evening, you will hear from several staff to help demystify the 11+ process and provide practical tips, advice and guidance. Our speakers will include key members of staff from our English and Mathematics departments, in addition to Mrs Olivia Adams, Vice Principal (Academic).

Occasional Places
Surbiton High School occasionally has places available in year groups other than Year 7. If you are interested in entry to any other year group, please contact the Admissions Department via our Enquiry Form to find out about the availability of places. Our Admissions Team will be pleased to guide you through the application process, offer advice on assessments, and arrange a visit should a place be available.
