Our Pre-School will provide children with a strong foundation for a confident and successful transition into Reception and beyond. Located alongside our Reception classes, children will become familiar with the environment, staff and routines, helping them to feel secure and develop a strong sense of belonging from the outset. Our curriculum will be carefully planned and shaped with our subject specialist teachers, ensuring that Pre-School is fully integrated into the academic and wider life of the school.
Through shared approaches to learning, including early phonics through Read Write Inc., and specialist experiences in areas such as PE, Music and Languages, children will benefit from a rich and engaging curriculum. This close connection with Reception and the wider school will provide continuity, familiarity and progression, ensuring children are confident, curious and exceptionally well prepared for the next stage of their education.
