Year 3 boys enjoyed a memorable visit to Year 5 at Avenue Elmers, where they were warmly welcomed into the Key Stage 2 environment. The older pupils proudly shared their English books, showcasing high-quality work and demonstrating the standards and expectations of learning in Year 5.
The visit was highly inspiring for Year 3, helping to build confidence and excitement as they look ahead to continuing their learning journey in September. It also provided a valuable opportunity for them to become familiar with the Avenue Elmers building and routines.
Year 5 pupils embraced their role as positive role models, offering encouragement and beginning to establish supportive buddy relationships with their younger peers. The experience helped to strengthen a sense of community across year groups and encouraged aspiration, responsibility and mutual respect.
The morning concluded with a lively scavenger hunt in the playground, bringing energy, enjoyment and a shared sense of achievement to all involved!
