Love Languages Competition

Posted: 25th February 2026

On Friday, 6th February, we went to the “love languages” competition hosted by City of London Freemen’s School. The theme for 2026 was ‘fashion’, which opened up so many creative thoughts. It was amazing to see and listen to. When we arrived, we went into the theatre and got ready to watch the Years 5-6 category performances before a short break. Then, in the Years 7-8 category, there were a variety of performances from plays to fashion shows to songs, all with a unique language twist, some having up to 5 languages!

And then it was our turn to close the show! We performed ‘Modenschau’ to the well-known “Das Fliegerlied” tune. It was so cool to perform as different animals! We even got the judges singing! As the day came to a close with a prize-giving ceremony, we headed back proud of what we had done. Our performance showed how we all really “love languages”!
