Every Spring Term, we give Year 4 the opportunity to experience performing their own full-length musical production on a theatre stage. This year, they took a trip to Ancient Greece for ‘Fleeced’, a comedy re-telling of the ‘Jason and the Argonauts’ story. Featuring a selection of fun, upbeat songs, the boys had an amazing time showing the audience their performance skills, which shone through with confidence and humour. One of the many highlights we always see, are those boys who were able to step out of their comfort zone when playing a character and showing a totally different side of themselves on the stage.
We were so proud of all the hard work and commitment every one of the boys put into the show. No matter how big or small the role they played, they were all a key part of making it such a success. The knowledge and confidence they will take away from this experience will stay with them throughout their time at the School, culminating in a larger scale production in Year 6.
