After a long day of competing and a super close-fought battle against several top teams, our young gymnasts (most of whom competed in a category above their age-group) finished as runners-up and 2nd in the country. Following 6 vaults, 3 individual floor routines and a group routine with a total possible score of 126.0, we missed out on the title by the tiniest margin possible in gymnastics…0.1!
I am extremely proud of how the girls competed and the great sportsmanship they displayed.
