Surbiton High School is thrilled to announce that our girls football team has secured a place in the Grand Final of the Utilita Girls Cup, to be held at the iconic Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 12th April.
Over the course of the season, the team progressed through three one-day tournaments — Local, Area and Regional — competing against more than 4,000 schools across the country. Each school must first win their local tournament, organised by their local club, with our pupils proudly representing AFC Wimbledon at each stage.
A highlight of the season came during the Regional stage at Swindon Town, where Evie D. scored the winning goal to secure the team’s place in the final.
