Year 6 boys recently travelled by bus to Chessington to take part in the Kingston Borough Junior Citizenship workshop, an engaging and practical programme designed to support personal development and safety awareness.
Throughout the afternoon, pupils participated in a fast-paced carousel of activities led by a range of organisations, including St John Ambulance and Transport for London. Sessions focused on vital topics such as staying safe, understanding the risks associated with drugs, fire safety and cycling responsibly.
The workshop forms an important element of the Year 6 Diploma at Surbiton High Boys’ Prep School, helping pupils to develop confidence, independence and practical life skills as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
Pupils represented the School exceptionally well and should be commended for their enthusiasm, maturity and positive engagement throughout the day!
