Surbiton High School’s U14 football team has once again proven their strength on the pitch, emerging victorious in the prestigious Rod Houston Cup.
The team qualified for the tournament after winning the National Cup last season, earning their place among the top youth teams from across the British Isles. The Rod Houston Cup brings together four elite teams of national champions and runners-up for a three-day competition showcasing the very best of school football.
Surbiton’s U14s delivered a flawless performance across all three days:
- Monday 15 September: Surbiton 8–0 Caerleon Comprehensive School
- Tuesday 16 September: Surbiton 3–0 Stanwell School
- Wednesday 17 September: Surbiton 3–1 St Mary’s College
Their unbeaten run not only secured the trophy but also highlighted the depth of talent, teamwork, and determination within the squad.
