On Thursday 2 November, Surbiton High School held their first community bank, the Surbiton Community Bank. The idea behind the bank is to support those in the local community with hygiene items, baby items, toys and school items. November was the hygiene bank. 10 pupils accompanied Mrs Miah and Miss Dhillon to the community fridge. The pupils laid out the items and helped those who came to select items for themselves and their families. We must thank all those who donated items for the cause. We are now collecting baby items for our next bank on Thursday 7 December. We are collecting baby clothes, hats, mittens, bottles, formulae, nappies, wipes, and baby toiletries. Please bring in any items you wish to donate and take to your Head of Year’s office.
