Year 13 Students Win Credit Suisse Apprenticeship Challenge

Posted: 20th September 2021

Surbiton High School entered a team of 5, now Year 13, students into the Credit Suisse Apprenticeship Challenge who then became joint winners!

The challenge was to come up with a fundraising idea for CS’s charity partner, Cancer Research, to help overcome the multi-million pound loss of funding that they have suffered during the pandemic. The Surbiton High School team came up with the idea of a fashion show, which was very well received by the judges.

The Winning Team:

  • Dasha
  • Harriet
  • Kaaviya
  • Marina
  • Saoirse

Alongside winning a voucher and notebook, the girls won an opportunity for them to work with members of Credit Suisse’s early careers program to develop their idea further and turn it to reality. This will start at the beginning of November and is a fantastic opportunity for the students!
