Tegan Wilcock, Year 13, has been chosen to join the Senior GB Team in the Acrobatic European Championships being held in Italy.
Tegan started gymnastics from the young age of 8 months old from the encourage of her mum and dad. She went on to win her first competition at 9 years of age, to then win regionals 3 times, coming 2nd in national twice!
From a young age I’d look at the older gymnasts as role models that go on the represent GB and thought, I want to do that
I’m really proud to be part of the GB team, it’s something I’ve worked for my whole life and for it to finally happen is better than I could have ever expected, and a dream come true.
We look forward to hearing of Tegan in the upcoming European Championships later this month!Categories: Senior School
