YEAR 1 GIRLS’ PREP TEDDY BEARS’ PICNIC

Posted: 29th June 2021

Last week, the girls enjoyed a very special afternoon at Hinchley Wood.

Instead of our usual LOC lesson, we headed down to Hinchley Wood with our teddies to enjoy a teddy bears’ picnic. The excitement and buzz started the moment the engine of the coach was switched on, and it was difficult to control their shrieks of laughter and noise. The girls hopped off the coach, clutching onto their fluffy friends and awaited the surprise in the woods. Once in the woods, the girls enjoyed reading their teddy stories and eating delicious chocolate brownies. After wiping their chocolatey mouths, the girls took their bears off to explore the woods.

The girls enjoyed playing a variety of games, such as hide-and-seek and climbing the trees. We all had a great afternoon and our teddies asked when they can visit next!
