Year 3 Take Part in the Egg Drop Challenge

Posted: 11th November 2021

Year 3 had an ‘eggcellent’ time this week, taking part in the Egg Drop Challenge to see if they could successfully build a structure that would protect an egg when it was dropped from 2 metres high!

The girls planned carefully, trying not to ‘crack’ under pressure, and although at times they felt ‘scrambled’, they successfully managed to collaborate together to complete the task! There were a few groups who were successful at protecting their eggs, but unfortunately, there were also lots of splattered eggs! The girls thought carefully about what worked well and reflected upon what they would do differently next time.

A ‘smashing’ time for all involved!
