Year 12 Art Trip to Somerset House
Our recent trip with Year 12 Art, Photography, and Art History students explored the vibrant worlds of Somerset House Gallery and The Courtauld Gallery. We immersed ourselves in captivating exhibitions, from ‘The Missing Thread,’ celebrating the impact of Black British fashion, to Claudette Johnson’s powerful figurative art, and The Courtauld’s renowned masterpieces spanning centuries. Our students gained inspiration for their own projects and deepened their understanding of art’s profound influence on culture.
