Success at Teddington Head

Last Saturday, in challenging rainy conditions, over 100 Surbiton rowers took on the 5.2km course at the Teddington Head. The squad delivered an outstanding performance, securing 5 Gold, 4 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals across a range of age groups and boat classes.
The highlight of the day was the resilience and spirit shown by the J14 squad, many of whom were racing their very first head race. Their determination set the tone for a memorable outing for the entire club.

Beyond the medalists, Surbiton crews also achieved strong finishes, including 4th and 5th places in the WJ14 8x and a 4th place in the WJ15 8+.

A Day to Remember

Despite the rain, the atmosphere was electric, with every crew contributing to the club’s success. The results reflect not only the talent across age groups but also the depth of teamwork and commitment within Surbiton Rowing Club.
