A successful weekend for our gymnasts

Posted: 14th November 2025

Over the weekend, several of our talented gymnasts were in action as we launched the new season with fantastic performances.

At the ISGA 2-Piece Premier National Championships, our younger squads (U11 & U13) competed with great success.

U11: National Champions! Mia A. (6), Tilly J. (6), Ava K. (6), Camilla M. (6), Amandine S. (6). Facing 10 other teams and a total of 57 gymnasts, our girls delivered outstanding floor and vault routines. Tilly placed 6th overall, while Camilla secured 5th, helping the team claim the National Champion title.

U13: 3rd Place Fleur V. (7N), Nadia K. (7N), Nell P. (7P), Emma W. (7P), Olivia W. (7C), Annabel W. (7P) For these Year 7 pupils, it was their first time representing Surbiton. Against 42 competitors, they showed resilience and skill, finishing an impressive 3rd place as a team.

Meanwhile, three of our acrobats competed for their clubs at the Mike Walker Invitational in Southampton:

  • Amber J. (9A): 10th
  • Elle J. (9N): 2nd
  • Louisa S. (11N): 1st

Looking ahead, our older squads will be in action this week at the Floor & Vault BSGA Regional Finals:

U16 (A): Elle J. (9N), Amber J. (9A), Eva R. (9R), Rachel S. (8R), Annabel W. (7P) U19 (A): Daisy A. (13P), Emmie A. (13T), Rosa B. (13P), Maeve H. (11N), Louisa S. (11N)

A huge well done to all our gymnasts for their achievements so far, and best of luck to those competing next
