IAPS Football Qualifier – History Makers!

Posted: 12th November 2025

The U11 Mint squad travelled to Oxford to play in the IAPS Football qualifier. In the pool stage, the team drew 0-0 against Halstead St. Andrew’s and then went on to win all their games with an impressive clean sheet. They beat The Old Hall School, Loughborough Schools Foundation and Beachborough School 1-0.

This saw the team reach the semi-finals against Channing School, where they won 2-0. Into the final they went, playing against Milton Keynes Prep School. It was a tense affair! With 2 minutes left, Darcey tapped the ball into the back of the net from a rebound off the post, winning 1-0!

Many congratulations to the girls for all their hard work, commitment and team spirit. The standard of football on display from the team was nothing short of outstanding. They now go on to represent the School in the National Finals. The first time in our school’s history! Good luck girls!

Squad: Camilla, Abigail, Eliza, Mya, Clodagh, Alicia, Lizzie, Darcey, Izzy.
