We are proud to announce that Surbiton High School has been awarded the Educating for Equality Allegiance Award, recognising our commitment to anti-racism, gender equality, and inclusive education.
Following a rigorous assessment, the awarding panel praised the school’s leadership, inclusive policies, and proactive approach to embedding equity across all areas of school life. Highlights from the panel’s feedback included:

- Robust safeguarding and restorative practices, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
- Reflective and relevant staff training, equipping educators to challenge bias and foster belonging.

- Strong family and community engagement, including global partnerships and culturally responsive initiatives.
The panel also commended our forward-thinking plans to further strengthen recruitment processes, curriculum review, and data-driven approaches to equity and belonging.
This accreditation is valid from 12 August 2025 to 11 August 2028, and we are honoured to share this achievement with our School community.
