We are incredibly proud of our A-level class of 2025 who have received a record set of results this year with:
- 34% of entries graded A*
- Over 67% of entries graded A*-A
- 92% of entries graded A*-B
- 19 students achieved three or more A* grades, one-third of all students achieved two or more A* grades and 56 students gained straight A*/A grades.
95% of students will be starting their studies at Russell Group Universities and Times Top 10 Universities, with nine students heading to Durham, and 12 heading to prestigious London universities such as King’s College, University College London and London School of Economics.
Eleven students have been successful in securing places at Oxbridge; Emily G, Hannah I, Emma P and Lily W will be studying at the University of Oxford, with Holly A, Anna C, Dasha G, Magdalena M and Cecily W off to study at the University of Cambridge. Twins, Gemma and Sophie G, are heading off in different directions, Gemma to Oxford and Sophie to Cambridge. Subjects across these two prestigious institutions include Biology, Classics and English, History, Linguistics, Medicine, Music, Philosophy, and Politics and Economics (PPE).
Our focus on encouraging breadth of educational interests is reflected in the range of student destinations: we have numerous students starting Art Foundation courses at prestigious art colleges and universities, alongside students pursuing Drama and Performing Arts courses.
Six students will be travelling to universities overseas: Sophya D and Christine F are both in receipt of a tennis scholarship, with Sophya studying at Purdue University, and Christine at Drexel University, Isabella G is going to study at University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMASS), and Natalie B is going to Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia both with hockey scholarships, Margo H is heading to the University of Leiden and Evie P (a World Table Tennis Champion) is heading to San Diego University.
The range of 32 subjects on offer at A-level and the breadth of co-curricular clubs is reflected in the wide range of courses:
- Students will pursue over 90 different degrees this autumn, including Aeronautics and Astronautics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Industrial Design, International Development, Japanese, Liberal Arts, Medicine and Philosophy etc.
- 16 students are studying Economics, Accounting, Finance or Physics at university
- 54 students are studying STEM subjects, including six pursuing medicine-related degrees and one Veterinary Science.
