Pupils described Sports Day 2025 as fun, amazing, exciting, joyous, incredible, community, fantastic and gladiatorial, that last one was a teacher! With new gazebos displaying house colours, the scene was set for a wonderful day of competition and a chance for all our community to meet with each other.
Our School band also entertained us throughout the day, showcasing their talents. The track and field events displayed the best in our pupils as they competed to do their best. All age group track finals were keenly contested, with cheers from the grandstand pushing everyone through the finish line. The House Leaders did a fantastic job organising the house events, with the Duck and Spoon race as eagerly contested as the sprint finals. The finale relay for staff and sixth form students is always the most entertaining event of the day with cheers and laughter from start to finish. No better way to kick-start activity week.
