This week, the Boys’ Prep has been celebrating El Día de los Muertos, also known as Day of The Dead.
Year 3 watched a clip all about El Día de los Muertos; they learnt new vocabulary about the different shapes that can be used to decorate a skull before creating their very own calaveras using a paper plate!
Year 4 learnt some new Día de los Muertos vocabulary which they then used to write, draw and create their own amazing concertinas!
Year 5 used their dictionary skills to figure out the instructions for making their wonderful 3D skull (calavera).
Year 6 looked at some words and phrases associated with Día de los Muertos, looking up the unknown words in a dictionary before watching a short clip which corresponded with the new vocabulary learnt.
