Year 12 Politics students visit the UK Supreme Court

Posted: 3rd July 2023

On 21st June, Year 12 Politics students visited the UK Supreme Court to consolidate their knowledge and understanding of the UK’s highest judicial court. Students revelled in the opportunity to debate on real court cases, engaging with evidence and presenting arguments to defend their positions. The visit was an opportunity for the students to experience how the highest level of the judiciary operates. They reflected on how important it is for the judiciary to be physically separated from the legislature. Hearing about the role of women in the judiciary inspired our students to seek opportunities to prepare themselves for careers in politics and law.
