Surbiton Boys’ Prep School Enjoy KS2 Sports Day

Posted: 14th June 2023

Surbiton Boys’ Prep School enjoyed beautiful sunshine and their annual Key Stage 2 Sports Day on Thursday 8 June. After applying plenty of sun cream and filling up their water bottles, the boys took to the Hinchley Wood playing fields to battle it out to be the house to have their colours on our coveted trophy.

The competition was fierce, and every single event went right down to the wire. A huge highlight for the PE department was to see just how much every single boy cared about winning extra points for their house, and the sheer determination and courage on display. If you were lucky enough to attend, you know just how much of a success the day was and how much the boys enjoyed themselves.

To top it off, we had a visit from an Ice Cream van, and the Year 6 boys (along with Mr. Murton) were presented with their leaver’s hoodies. The event saw a well-deserved victory for Caernarvon, an enthralling teacher’s race, won by Balmoral, and numerous nail-biting parents races, who were eagerly cheered on by their sons! A huge well done to all involved, and a special mention to Mr. Blood and the PE team for such a successful and enjoyable day.
