Natural History Museum Trip

Posted: 18th January 2023

Wow! What an exciting day we have had exploring dinosaurs and mammals at the Natural History Museum.

We started our day with a quiz around the dinosaur gallery, where we learned about herbivores, carnivores, skeletons, fossils, excavation and extinction. We couldn’t believe the size of some of the fossils and sculptures. It gave us a fantastic insight as to what real dinosaurs were like. We were able to answer many of the questions from our homework last week, which has fuelled our enthusiasm to learn more in the classroom.

We even got a sneak peak of the mammals and creepy crawly galleries too. We remembered that mammals give birth to live young rather than laying eggs.

We did our teachers proud with our behaviour, on our first trip outside of School. We looked after each other, we listened and kept safe and most of all, we had lots of fun.
