Year 1 enjoyed a trip to Legoland last week. In their workshop, the boys recapped their understanding of continents and oceans before building either a human or physical feature out of Lego relating to a continent. The boys presented their structure to the rest of the class and explained if it was human or physical.
Once in Miniland, the boys wandered around identifying physical and human features and as many cities as they could. They enjoyed “visiting” Paris, Washington and, of course, the landmarks of London.
The day was educational, but we did manage to fit in a few rides where the boys proved a lot braver than their teachers!
