Pupil Leadership Team Breakfast

Posted: 30th June 2022

This year has been a very busy one for our Pupil Leadership Team (PLT). They have led on the action points raised for the annual pupil survey, as well as meeting with Mrs McCabe-Arnold, Mr Rodas our Facilities Manager, and Ana and Esme from our catering team.

This year, the team have achieved: promoting a love of reading across the whole School, the reintroduction of parent readers and helpers (thank you parents!), facilitating more effective teacher feedback in books and lessons, the pupil code of conduct, and reviewing how pupils can ask for help and who they can turn to.  In addition, the team have looked at how, after the past two years, we can rebuild our sense of community and belonging to the School. This has been accomplished with the very many events, trips, visits and challenges that the girls have been offered throughout the year, either at distinct times or embedded throughout their daily school lives.

This is no mean feat!

To say a big thank you to the girls for their time and commitment, meeting every Thursday and then taking the time to feedback to their peers, we laid on a breakfast for the girls in our last session. Bacon butties, pastries, orange juice and a surprising amount of tea were all consumed – a highly cultured bunch! Well done girls; great leadership!
