Boys’ Prep Jubilee Picnic

Posted: 27th May 2022

On Wednesday 25 May, KS1 and Year 3 celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a picnic and afternoon of our favourite English games. With Union Jack flags in hand, we arrived at Hinchley Wood to what was about to be a glorious afternoon. We completed a carousel of four different activities led by the teachers, then enjoyed a picnic while listening and dancing to some of the best British tunes. The weather was kind to us and we were lucky enough to have a visit from the Queen herself and her two corgis. It was a fantastic way to end this half of the term and a wonderful memory of what might be for some, a once in a lifetime event.
