On Thursday 28 April, Year 1 had a lovely afternoon at Richmond Park exploring Isabella Plantation. Ahead of the trip, the boys discussed the common garden and wild plants that they already knew. They also looked at evergreen and deciduous plants, and the different characteristics of each. At Isabella Plantation, the boys enjoyed a picnic, explored the gardens, and put their new knowledge to good use, identifying a variety of trees, rhododendrons, bluebells and magnolias.
