On Wednesday 9 March, Hinchley Wood was the venue for the inaugural U11 Surbiton Rugby Festival. Seven schools joined us on a dry, if breezy afternoon. Some excellent rugby was played throughout the afternoon with the U11 Surbiton team more than matching the physicality of their opponents. In four matches played, Surbiton Boys’ Prep managed to win two games, draw one and narrowly lose the other. It was a tremendous achievement from an ever-improving team and great preparation for the Paris Tour in a few weeks’ time.
