Creative Thoughtfulness Course Launch

Posted: 11th March 2022

Year 10 enjoyed an inspirational assembly with the founder of the Kissing It Better Charity and former pupil of Surbiton High School, Jill Fraser, on Wednesday morning.  This Assembly was held to launch a fantastic opportunity for pupils in Year 10 to engage in a six-session course to enhance their understanding of how simple ideas can make an immediate and lasting difference to the lives of the most vulnerable in our society, particularly older people.

We strongly believe that this course will provide an invaluable opportunity for pupils to develop positive emotion, engage in School beyond the curriculum, build relationships across generations, find greater meaning after a challenging past few years and, ultimately, gain a sense of achievement.

The Green & Silver Club (the alumni association of Surbiton High School) are delighted to be able to sponsor this course and will continue to build on relationships with our alumni in order to offer such opportunities to our current pupils.
