Dracula Night

Posted: 10th February 2022

The Year 6 team have been blown away by the depth and maturity of the boys’ work, so they felt it deserved an evening to be shared with parents. On Tuesday 8 February, Year 6 hosted ‘An Evening With Dracula’ during which they showcased their enjoyment of Gothic literature and learning in English.

The boys narrated and acted key parts of ‘Dracula’, as well as sharing their favourite pieces of work. The evening also involved some boys answering panel questions in character and exploring their insights into the themes of power, gender, the significance of setting and heroism. The Year 6 boys ran the event themselves and took great pride in their work.

Afterwards, the boys shared Dracula-themed treats with parents and staff. Well done to all the Year 6 boys for a fabulous and entertaining evening and a big thank you to all the Year 6 parents for sharing in the night with us.
