Boys’ Prep Nativity

Posted: 14th December 2021

Our 2021 Nativity, ‘Straw and Order’, was a spectacular performance with an abundance of energy.

The show began in a courtroom where the cows accused the donkeys of having too many people in the stable. To demonstrate the frustration of the cows, the boys sang ‘We’re Not Moving Out’. Year 2 confidently owned their lead roles, reciting their lines clearly and fluently. The innkeepers kept the audience on the edge of their seats with their perfect delivery of witty comments. The Wise Men demonstrated their knowledge through a quiz lead by Quiz Master Misha and Quiz Master Oscar, and the shepherds successfully moved sheep from one grassy hillock to the next. Year 1 tried to steal the show with their song, ‘The Sheep Shimmy’. They wiggled their tales and moved to the rhythms before finally falling asleep due to their exhaustion! The boys in Reception brought tears to everyone’s eyes with their song, ‘Precious Baby’. The story concluded with the cows and donkeys agreeing that the birth of baby Jesus was more important than fighting about who belongs in the stable. The animals decided to live in peace and harmony.

Well done to all of the boys involved in such a fantastic performance!
