The final charity event this year finished with some very cold teachers and very happy girls!
The shivers were worth it though, raising a huge £337 towards our three chosen charities. Not only were the teachers plunged into a paddling pool, they had an ice water bucket poured over them by the girls. As if this wasn’t enough, the girls continued to chant “lay down!”, so a few of the bravest teachers were seen swimming in the ice pool to the laughter of the girls.
The event showcased the strong community feel at the Girls’ Prep School and brought the year groups and teachers together to have fun and make memories; we can’t wait to see what next year’s charity events have in store for us all.
