SHS ART CLUB PRODUCE ARTWORK FOR KINGSTON HOSPITAL’S GARDEN OF REFLECTION

Posted: 29th June 2021

Over the course of this year, members of Surbiton High School’s Gifted and Talented Art Club have been working towards producing a collaborative artwork for Kingston Hospital’s Garden of Reflection.

The finished work is a ceramic tile mural, which bears the message ‘Thank you NHS’ and celebrates the hard work, devotion and compassion of every NHS worker during the Covid-19 Global Pandemic. Each tile has been handmade and hand painted by over 30 students aged 11-15.

They hope that the mural serves as a reminder to the staff of Kingston Hospital that their community is eternally grateful for all of their efforts and achievements this year.
